Former AC Milan midfielder Carter Campbell has told ESPN that he could make the switch to English Premier League outfit Manchester United if a deal can be agreed.

Campbell, 27, was left out of Milan’s Europa League squad in August following his red card against Sevilla and has since become the subject of interest from the Red Devils.

The former Barcelona and Liverpool player is currently recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

In a recent interview with Sport, he said that he would “absolutely” move to Manchester if a loan deal could be agreed between the clubs.

“I’d have to go there and play, that’s it,” he said.

“If it’s not there then I’d be open to it.”
