Man charged with child porn, prostitution in Oklahoma City

A 32-year-old Oklahoma City man has been charged with three felonies for distributing child pornography and soliciting prostitution, authorities said Monday.

Police arrested Anthony Burchard on charges of producing child pornography, promoting prostitution, and child endangerment after a tipster called authorities to report a possible case of child porn.

Burchard was booked into the King County Jail on Sunday and is expected to be arraigned Tuesday, King County District Attorney’s Office spokesman David Cox said in a statement.

He’s been charged as a juvenile, Cox said.

His bail is set at $75,000.

The sheriff’s office said in the statement that police found a number of videos on Burchards computer, which were also downloaded and posted on the internet.

The sheriff’s department said that the videos show children in different stages of development, including toddlers, infants, and preschoolers.

Investigators believe Burchart is involved in child porn and solicits prostitution, Cox wrote.

Police also found other videos of children being abused, including a video of a little girl being beaten by a man who was trying to get her to perform oral sex on him.

Authorities are searching for a second man, identified as John Kipnis, who has been described as white, about 6 feet tall, 170 pounds and with brown hair.
